ABOUT

Gorillaz0811 is a Scenario Paintball Team based in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. Gorillaz was founded in August 2011- hence the 0811. It all began with a group of guys who played almost every weekend at TRP (Trinity River Paintball). Their love for the sport led them to the creation of this team to simply have other people to play the game that they all loved. In the years coming forward, many of the initial members stayed on and many more new members have become part of the Gorillaz family.

 

In 2013, members of the team decided to take part in scenario games. These scenario games could be up to 26-hour games spanned over two days that were mostly mission based. Once partaking in this type of paintball, compared to just regular rec-play, Gorillaz began to attend as many scenario games as possible. They have attended numerous games throughout the U.S. as shown in the map below. Gorillaz welcomes and encourages the use of any type of marker for its members.

Gorillaz does not only consider themselves a paintball team, but a family as well. We strive to have a team based on the love for paintball, sportsmanship, and family. On a monthly-basis we have team practices to hone our skills and communication. Additionally, we have monthly social outings where as a team and family we go out bowling, swimming, have cookouts, etc to build and strengthen the family atmosphere within us.
